Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska claims he does not own mansion occupied by squatters | UK News

Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska has mentioned he does not even own the central London mansion that was occupied before by squatters.

Law enforcement responded to the scene in Belgrave Sq. just after squatters took around the property on Monday early morning.

On the other hand, a spokesman for the billionaire stated the property belongs to household users and not him.

They also explained the loved ones was “appalled at the carelessness of Britain’s justice technique”.

In a statement, they claimed: “By occupying this mansion, we want to exhibit solidarity with the people of Ukraine, but also the individuals of Russia who under no circumstances agreed to this madness.

“You occupy Ukraine, we occupy you.”

Just one of the protesters, who refused to give his name but said he was from Lithuania, claimed: “All our team manufactured peace with arrest for the reason that this was usually one particular of the options.

“I am completely ready to just take the repercussions for one thing I believe that.

He also claimed they had carried out “anything by the reserve” and they experienced left “no felony harm” in the residence.

“This property could dwelling 200 persons. We have been performing a position the federal government need to do. We have liberated the residence for refugees,” he extra.

Deripaska has been described as “a well known Russian businessman and pro-Kremlin oligarch” who is “intently related” with the Russian government and President Vladimir Putin.

Meanwhile, French law enforcement arrested two activists who occupied a luxurious villa in Biarritz that they said was joined to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s previous son-in-regulation.

Frenchman Pierre Haffner and Sergei Saveliev, a Belarussian political refugee, entered the property on Sunday, intending to give the eight-bed room home to shelter Ukrainian refugees.

The property is believed to be joined to Kirill Shamalov, Putin’s former son-in-legislation and the deputy chairman of petrochemical business Sibur.
